Third International Online Fellowship Program on Nonviolence and Peace (2024-2025)
This program is a unique collaboration between Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan, Gandhi International (France), Academic University College for Non-Violence and Human Rights (AUNOHR, Lebanon), MGM University (India), and the International Centre of Nonviolence (ICON, South Africa). It offers a comprehensive four-month online training focusing on Gandhian nonviolence and peace practices.

October 2, 2024 – January 30, 2025
Eligibility:
Open to community leaders, teachers, lifelong learners, and anyone with an interest in peace and nonviolence. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and proficient in English.
Participants:
The program is limited to 30 participants to maintain an interactive learning environment.

Course Objectives:
Introduce participants to the fundamentals of Gandhian nonviolence and how it can be applied in daily life and social movements.
Explore nonviolent action in the context of global peace and justice struggles.
Equip participants with tools for conflict transformation and the skills needed to address personal and social challenges nonviolently.
Foster a deep understanding of sustainable living and the creation of peaceful societies.
Program Structure:
Interactive Learning:
The course includes interactive and participatory sessions using audiovisual materials, group discussions, design thinking, and case studies.
Mentorship:
Each participant will be assigned a mentor to guide them throughout the program, including assistance with practical projects and report writing.
Weekly Engagement:
Participants are expected to engage in three hours of practical, community-based activities each week.
